About Lauren

Lauren Kane McDermott has been a REALTOR® with RE/MAX since 2007 and is licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire. With nearly two decades of experience, she represents a wide range of property types and price points, helping buyers and sellers throughout the Seacoast and Southern Maine markets navigate some of life’s most important financial decisions with confidence.
Known for her marketing and client-focused approach, Lauren is passionate about building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service before, during, and after every transaction. Much of her business is built on repeat clients and referrals — a testament to the trust and loyalty she has earned throughout her career.
Lauren has served as both a board member and Past President of the Seacoast Board of Realtors, as well as a board member of Catapult Seacoast. Her professional achievements include recognition in the RE/MAX Executive Club from 2013–2016 and the RE/MAX 100% Club from 2017–2025.
After living in Dover, New Hampshire for many years, Lauren relocated to Wells, Maine in 2020, expanding her reach throughout York County while continuing to serve clients across New Hampshire’s Seacoast region.
Lauren earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. Outside of real estate, she enjoys the coastal lifestyle, including beaches, outdoor recreation, food and wine, and spending time at her Florida condo when she can.
