Scott Kerr has been licensed as a Broker since 1986. In the past 20 years he has personally purchased, developed and sold over 20,000 acres, several office buildings, multifamily and single family homes. He now uses his real estate development experience to work with buyers and sellers in the Greater Portland area.
With an MBA from Harvard University and years of experience as a CPA and Financial and Development Consultant, he brings a sound financial perspective to his clients’ transactions. For buyers he works in a consulting style, helping them to understand their needs and then to examine how each property may meet those needs. He is thorough in his research and patient with buyers as they explore all of the aspects of the properties necessary to make their choice.
For sellers, Scott researches and gathers pertinent information on the property and then creates a presentation that will compel buyers to say yes! He draws on a wide variety of marketing strategies to reach the greatest number of potential buyers, including local newspapers, a virtual tour, premier listings on Realtor.com, and the Multiple Listing Service. He is always willing to host open houses at his listings to ensure that the house receives maximum exposure in its marketplace.
Scott lives in North Yarmouth in an antique farmhouse which he has passionately restored and renovated with his wife Meredith. He also enjoys boating, skiing, church and spending time with family. He and Meredith have three grown children.
