RE/MAX SHORELINE LAUNCHES HELP US HELP 2018!
At RE/MAX Shoreline, we think it’s important that we take a moment to show gratitude to the local organizations who work hard everyday to make a difference in Maine and New Hampshire communities. That’s why we’ve launched our Second Annual Holiday Giving Campaign, Help Us Help!
We are incredibly proud of our agents and the work they do year-round in their local communities, and we want to support their efforts by offering a cash contribution to two nonprofits that deserve a bit of special recognition this holiday season.
We’ll be asking our community – agents, team, clients, and friends – to suggest the names of nonprofit organizations who deserve extra recognition. Then, we’ll have an online vote! The winners will be given a cash award, recognition at our holiday luncheon on December 7th, and lots of exposure for their mission via our marketing channels.
The first part of our campaign will take place from November 16 – 26. During this time, we’ll be asking people to submit the names of their preferred nonprofit organizations in their communities through our Facebook Page and our Instagram feed.
During the second part of our campaign (from November 27 – December 3), we’ll host a vote on our Facebook Page where everyone can cast their votes for their favorite nonprofit! (You can vote up to 3 times.) The nonprofit with the most combined “votes” on our Facebook Page at the end of the campaign will win a cash award and be recognized at our holiday luncheon on December 6th. Any vote that is accompanied by an appropriate video that explains a person’s reasons for voting for their particular nonprofit will be worth two votes!

Why are we running this campaign?
- We want to celebrate what our agents are already doing in the community by recognizing the nonprofits with whom they volunteer year-round.
- We are proud of our agents and hope to bring awareness to the local causes that are important to them.
- We provide generous donations throughout the year, and this is the second year we hope to celebrate the holiday season by donating funds to two organizations that have captured the hearts of the majority of our community.
What is the timeline of the campaign?
This campaign will take place in 3 phases:
PHASE 1 – Gathering Suggestions: November 16 – 26
PHASE 2 – Voting: November 27 – December 3
PHASE 3 – Close Out/Reporting/Announcement of Winners: award given at December 6 Holiday Luncheon
Who can participate in the campaign?
We’d love to get suggestions of local nonprofits from anyone who has a great idea! Anyone over the age of 18 can suggest a local nonprofit and vote for their favorite.
How do I participate in the campaign?
Between November 16 and 26, everyone can submit names of nonprofit organizations they prefer through our Facebook Page or our Instagram feed.
From November 27 – December 3, everyone can visit our Facebook Page where participants can cast their vote(s) for their favorite nonprofit! Participants can vote up to three times, and a vote that is accompanied by an appropriate video explaining why the participant prefers that nonprofit will count as two votes.
How does a nonprofit win?
