Our May Results: It’s A “Shore” Thing!
RE/MAX Shoreline’s agents continue to excel in the marketplace as 2020 continues. Congratulations to Nick Guerrette, RE/MAX’s #1 Individual Agent in Maine for the month of May 2020! And, congratulations to Liz Levey-Pruyn and the Seacoast Dwellings Team, Tom Ranello, and Kevin Shultz, who all ranked in the RE/MAX Top 50 for New England for the month of May 2020!
A quick pivot ensured that our agency would have a successful year. In February of this year, Rachel Reed and I, the owners of RE/MAX Shoreline, a real estate agency with headquarters in Portland, Maine and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, realized it was time to shift to a fully virtual platform for all facets of our agency.
RE/MAX Shoreline had a head start: For over four years, we had been using technology to create a cohesive community of our agents who serve the vast majority of Maine and New Hampshire from just three physical locations, our two state headquarters locations and our RE/MAX Collection luxury office in Falmouth, Maine. Even our education, training and sales performance platform was already virtual, thanks to the programs that were offered through RE/MAX and its affiliates.
Working tirelessly with our Team for several weeks, we were able to ensure a seamless, virtual experience for our agents and their clients by the time the COVID-19 shutdowns began to take place. The timing of our efforts has led to better sales and financial performance so far in 2020 than had been achieved previously, despite this year’s many challenges.
No surprise, though, in retrospect. In less than 4½ years, RE/MAX Shoreline has achieved over $1 billion in sales, founded a philanthropic giving program that has had remarkable success for the nonprofits in the communities it serves, and has been ranked as an RISMedia Power Broker. Our Virtual Homebuying website section has been a great platform for our agents to show their listings while physical showings are so restricted, and our agent community has continued to enjoy numerous coaching and networking opportunities each day via our virtual platform.
This is a collaborative, community approach to an industry that focuses on volume and market share. RE/MAX Shoreline, instead, focuses on customer satisfaction and agent support. We have already helped over 3,000 families and businesses realize their real estate dreams and supported over 80 agents in their quest for a more successful future.
