“I wish to spend a lifetime near a lighthouse where loneliness will be the glimmer of luminous prancing upon ocean waves… rising and falling only for my breathing.” ~Munia Khan. . This image was captured last August 2nd while visiting Spring Point Ledge Light located in South Portland. It is known as a “spark plug lighthouse” and was built back in 1897. I’m too nervous to walk all the way out onto the 900 foot granite breakwater, so I chose this perspective to highlight the beautiful view this lighthouse has of Portland Harbor. ⚓️ . My sincerest appreciation for your continued kindness and support. I’ve been quiet as I’ve been struggling, physically and mentally. Thank you to those of you who continue to follow me. I may not always comment on your photos, or answer your kind compliments all the time, but just know that your words and your online presence are very much appreciated. My chronic illnesses can be isolating and lonely. Having friends here to share photos and words with makes me feel like I’m not alone in this world. 🌟 . I hope you enjoy my point of view. Have a peaceful evening. 😌🙏🏻💙 . . . . . #mainething #mainelighthouse #lighthouse #maine #mainetheway #scenesofmaine #springpointledgelighthouse #southportland #portlandharbor #cascobay #breakwater #igersmaine #maine_igers #hey_ihadtosnapthat #ipulledoverforthis #downeastmagazine #nautical_images #maineisgorgeous #usa_photolovers #pocket_beaches #picture_to_keep #everything_home_front #everything_imaginable #allbeauty_addiction #just_unitedstates #igersusa #photo_hitchhiker #fav_squares

Homes are popular on Instagram, too.

Popular places get a lot of love on Instagram, but so do pictures of homes. The right photo can grab your attention (like the ones above). Quality images are equally as important in real estate. According to the Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD), homes with high-quality photography sell 32% faster and for more money. That's why every home we list receives both professional photography and marketing on Instagram.
